Moleskine
what I do in my free time…
or when I should be studying Finances… (hate it)
or working…
I love using my Crayola and Staedtler markers to draw on my moleskine!
Sometimes, when I’m patient enough, I like colouring with markers; it’s hard work yet fun!
I used oil pastels on this one. I love how it’s possible to blend the colors with the tip of my finger, I can feel the drawing coming… know what I mean?
pardon my scanner, it sucks!
Just feel like dancing…
You know when you just feel like dancing?
But as adults higly ajusted to society’s BS we normally don’t dance, do we?
I mean we’re normally so worried about what other people would think if we acted strangly (outta impulse) that we don’t do stuff that we feel like…
I say just dance
This is an illustration based on a photo I saw at corbis once ( long time agoooo); it shows exactly what I’m trying to say, see how children don’t mind about others and just act as they like. I’m not saying NO to boundaries, we totally need them. But why do we grow up to care so much about others opinions?
That’s why kids rock, see my beautiful 6 y.o. niece, Yasmin, on the pic below.
Not a care in the world.
Maybe I’ll draw her next time…
This was supposed to be updated…
since I can’t remember to ever update this, I’ll post some illustrations at once.
who knows when will I update again?
so I decided to have a theme, so I wouldn’t just post random stuff…
I selected some illustration I made as intern for Gravataí’s (a city in Brazil) communitaction department, these are all from the city’s newspaper.
Did you like it?

FIRST POST EVER
Okay, so first an introduction:
I’m Pagui, 23 years old.
I’m a girl from Brazil who has lived some places, loves travelling and reading.
But most of all…
I love drawing.
Love.
Love.
Love.
That’s why I became an illustrator, seems quite obvious; huh?
I created this blog to show the world my work… if you wanna hire me I don’t mind either…
I work as a freelancer.
So I’ll try to post an illustration per week, starting with:
I think it’s appropriate to start of from my very first vector illustration, done on Adobe Illustrator CS3 in 2008 (oh my!)
Hope you enjoy!
